Driving Instructor

Stephanie Lee

I trained to be an instructor in 2006 and became qualified by 2008. After teaching students, I started to train PDI's to become driving instructors. I then switched to intensive courses; watching a student go from zero experience to achieving their license within a week. When doing intensives, you get to spend a lot of time with the student, understanding the way they think and adapting my teaching style to accommodate them allows for a better understanding of the car, the road, and the overall learning experience; I've been responsible for over 1000 passes now. Recently me and my brother decided to set up our own company to truly give our students the best experience from start to end.

My journey as a driving instructor started when I was 23, having 6 years experience as a bus driver, I decided to take my driving to a new chapter by training to be a driving instructor. I became a qualified instructor in 2008, age 26. Most people live compact lives so standard 1-2 hour a week driving lessons were not working for them. At age 31 I decided to go full time and switched to intensive courses, it was the best thing I had ever done. My students really liked this style of teaching, leading me to have over 1000 passes working for different companies over the years. After working for these companies I finally decided to start this company with my sister to better teach students to drive with the difficulties of test scheduling and new road rules being enforced in recent times.
